The Hustle consist of RNG (random number generation) mechanics as well as some other dynamic mechanics which makes this crew management game, not just fun, but also engaging, challenging and strategically focused.
RnG mechanics are aspects of the game design, or rules, in which the player follows within the hustle universe. These dictate how the player acts within the game and the output.
When collecting Dirty Cash from a character in either The Corner, Trap house or Clandestine Lab one of the following RNG events can happen.
Event 1: 55% chance - “Collection Successful” Player receives 100% of mined Dirty Cash.
Event 2: 35% chance “Stop and Search” Player loses 90% of their mined Dirty Cash. 🔹If bulk collection is made and a stop and search is triggered, 60% of total crew characters will be penalised with a criminal record. 🔹For every third stop and search triggered the character or 60% of total characters if bulk collection was made, will be sent to jail.
Event 3: 15% chance “Police shoot out “ Player loses 50% of the reward. 🔹If bulk collection is made and Police Shootout is triggered, 60% of total crew characters will be penalised with a criminal record. 🔹For every second Police Shootout triggered, the character or 60% of total characters if bulk collection was made, will be sent to jail.

In The Hustle, the police are always watching, working tirelessly to stop your rise to the top. This includes confiscating any Dirty Cash being illegally wired out.
You can attempt to withdraw a minimum of 10 Dirty Cash as many times as you want, but the higher the amount, the greater the chance of failure. If you trigger three failed withdrawals within 24 hours, a 24-hour cooldown is applied, preventing any further withdrawal attempts during that time. NOTE: Withdrawals RnG do not apply when utilising DZ Passes Withdrawals amounts and chance rates 10-500 per withdraw
Event 1: 55% chance “Drop has been intercepted” - Player loses 100% of drop request.
Event 2: 30% chance “Drop successful” - Player withdraws total requested amount
Event 3: 15% chance “Drop compromised” Unlucky - player loses 65% of withdraw request

The Drop Zone system introduces a dynamic risk-reward mechanic affecting all players. As more Dirty Cash Drops (withdraws) are attempted within a 24-hour period, the overall success rate for withdrawals decreases for everyone.
Once an undisclosed threshold is reached, the failure rate spikes dramatically, reaching 90%, making further attempts extremely risky. However, at a random time, the system resets back to its default success rate, starting a fresh cycle before the failure rate climbs again.
This mechanic encourages strategic timing for withdrawals.

Safe Maintenance puts players in control of keeping their earnings flowing. Every 48 hours, you must decide whether to maintain your Safe. Failure to do so after completing a 3-phase cycle will stop it from generating Hustlers Token.
However, maintenance comes with an element of chance:
Greasing – 50% chance
Recalibration – 50% chance
Each maintenance job has a different cost, requiring a mix of Hustlers Token and Clean Cash. The larger the Safe, the higher the cost, making efficient resource management essential.
