# Set tactic (WAX)

Your character is only as good as your strategy. Before locking into a fight, you have the final say in how your character approaches combat:

* **Attack:** +10% power, -10% defence — perfect for those who want to deal maximum damage.
* **Neutral:** +5% power, +5% defence — a balanced approach for versatility in battle.
* **Defence:** +10% defence, -10% power — for players who prefer to outlast their opponents.

1. Navigate to the character setup page and locate the **strategy dropdown menu** beneath your stats table.<br>
2. Click the dropdown menu to view the available strategies. Choose the one that best fits your gameplay style.<br>
3. After selecting your strategy, click the **"Set Tactic"** button to confirm and apply your choice.

Your character's strategy will now be updated to reflect your selection!
